If you have the ingredients for a Greek salad in stock, you can prepare it in minutes!
We need:
- a jar of pitted green olives;
- a jar of pitted black olives;
- packaging of cheese such as feta cheese (more convenient cheese in brine in the form of cubes);
- 300 grams of cherry tomatoes;
- one large yellow pepper;
- one small onion, preferably red;
- salt, a set of dry spices (basil, rosemary, thyme, savory, tarragon, various types of pepper, etc.);
- unrefined olive oil - about 3 tablespoons.
We open the jars with olives and olives, drain all the liquid from them. We drain the brine from the package with cheese cubes. If we use a piece of feta cheese, cut the cheese into cubes with a side of 1 cm.
My cherry tomatoes, cut each in half. Peel the yellow pepper from seeds and stalks, cut into small pieces. Peel the onion, cut it into small cubes or thin half rings - depending on your preferences.
Combine all the ingredients in a large salad bowl, sprinkle generously with dried spices, salt to taste and add olive oil. Gently mix the salad and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to cool and soak. Stir again before serving.
