Making pies with potato and mushroom filling is not so difficult; both an experienced chef and a beginner can do this. To prepare this dish, you do not need expensive products, but at the same time it will turn out to be incredibly tasty and appetizing.

It is necessary

  • • wheat flour - how much the dough will take;
  • • 1 glass of water (warm);
  • • 220 g of fresh mushrooms (forest mushrooms are best suited);
  • • 1 pack of dry granular yeast;
  • • 200 g of potato tubers;
  • • 1 head of a medium sized onion;
  • • vegetable oil;
  • • ground black pepper and salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour 1 cup of clean water into a deep cup, which should be slightly warm (not hot). Dissolve a little granulated sugar in it, and then add dry granular yeast. After that, you need to pour the required amount of salt and pre-sifted wheat flour into the water.

Step 2

Knead the dough thoroughly. It should be non-fluid and elastic. Roll the finished dough into a lump and place in a warm enough place. Be sure to cover with a cloth.

Step 3

Mushrooms must be cleaned of dirt and rinsed thoroughly (best under running water). Then they are cut into medium-sized pieces and put into a saucepan, into which the required amount of water is then poured. Boil the mushrooms until cooked, and then drain the water.

Step 4

The husks must be removed from the onion, washed thoroughly and cut into small cubes using a sharp knife. After that, they must be poured into a pre-heated frying pan. Boiled mushrooms should also be transferred there. Add the required amount of black pepper and salt.

Step 5

Remove the peel from the potatoes, wash them well and cut them into small pieces. Place them in a pot of water. Boil potatoes until cooked and drain. Then mash it by making a puree.

Step 6

Put the prepared onion with mushrooms in the finished mashed potatoes.

Step 7

Mix everything thoroughly. Divide the dough into approximately equal pieces, soak each piece in sifted flour and roll out. Ideally, you should have a circle. Place the required amount of filling in the middle and pinch the edges.

Step 8

Finished pies should be fried in a hot pan with the addition of vegetable oil. After one side is browned, turn the pie over. Put the finished pies on a towel, and cover with the second on top to make them softer and more tender.
