A perfect combination of crispy dough with aromatic tomatoes, cottage cheese filling, garlic and herbs. The pies are juicy and delicious. This is a great breakfast or a great snack for the arrival of guests.
It is necessary
- Dough
- - 3-3, 5 tbsp. flour;
- - 1 tsp. granulated sugar;
- - 1 tbsp. water (boiling water);
- - 1 tsp. salt;
- - 4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
- Filling
- - 5 pieces. a tomato;
- - 200 g of cottage cheese or feta cheese;
- - greens;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the tomatoes and cut into circles.
Step 2
Mash cheese or cottage cheese with a fork, if cottage cheese - then salt. Squeeze the garlic through a garlic press, add the chopped herbs and stir.
Step 3
Stir sugar and salt in water (boiling water), add butter and flour. Knead a soft dough. Let it brew for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Cut the dough in half. Roll one piece into a thin layer. Spread the tomatoes on top of the dough (about 3 cm apart). Place the filling on top of the tomatoes. Roll out the remaining dough and cover the filled layer with it.
Step 5
Cut the patties with a glass along the contours of each tomato. Fry the pies on both sides in a large amount of hot oil.
