A pecan is a nut that looks a bit like a walnut. It has a delicate structure and a sweet taste with almost no bitterness. This type of nut can be used to decorate pies, cakes and cookies, but it can also be used for salads. Cookies with pecans and sea salt are very unusual in taste.

We prepare the cookie dough in advance so that it will lie in the refrigerator overnight. Melt the butter, let it cool slightly, beat in a bowl with sugar, egg and vanilla extract. Sift flour and baking soda into a bowl and add salt. Knead the dough, add chopped nuts to it and mix again.
Step 2
We spread cling film on the table, spread the dough on it and form a kind of log 30 centimeters long. We wrap the dough in foil and put it in the refrigerator overnight.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Cover two baking sheets with baking paper. Using a sharp knife, cut the dough into circles 5-6 mm thick and lay them on baking sheets with a distance of 2.5 cm. Sprinkle with a small amount of sea salt on top and send to the oven for 8-10 minutes. Cookies are best served when they have cooled completely.
