Anthill cake made from cookies is one of the easiest desserts to prepare. Even a child can handle it!
The Anthill cake got this name because of its resemblance to an ant's dwelling, and the chocolate chips and poppy seeds that are strewn with the delicacy look like hardworking insects crawling around their house.
Ingredients for the Anthill cake:
- 500 grams of cookies;
- 200 g butter;
- 2 cans of condensed milk;
- 100 g of chocolate;
- a glass of walnuts;
- confectionery poppy for sprinkling.
Method of making the cake "Anthill"
- First, let's deal with condensed milk: for this cake it must be boiled. You can buy boiled dumplings at any store, but if you have a supply of uncooked condensed milk, you can make it yourself. To do this, place cans of condensed milk in a saucepan, fill with water and put on fire. After boiling, cook condensed milk for 2 hours. Make sure the jars are covered with water at all times.
- Now let's proceed directly to the preparation of the Anthill cake. Chop the walnuts and brown them in a dry frying pan. Break the cookies into small pieces. To speed up the process, you can put the cookies in a plastic bag and walk over it several times with a rolling pin.
- Stir the cookies and nuts together.
- Prepare the cream: mix chilled boiled condensed milk with softened butter and beat the mixture with a mixer.
- Stir the cookies and nuts into the cream. Put the mass in a slide on a plate and use your hands to form an "anthill" out of it.
- Sprinkle the cake with grated chocolate and poppy seeds.
- Put the product in the refrigerator for several hours.
