Ingredients:

  • pepper to taste;
  • salt to taste;
  • ketchup - to taste;
  • mayonnaise with lemon juice - 4 tablespoons;
  • cherry tomatoes - 8 pcs;
  • chicken fillet - 800 g.

Preparation:

Rinse the chicken in cold water and cut into 4cm cubes. Place the pieces in a medium bowl, add salt, mayonnaise and pepper. Stir well and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Wash the cherry tomatoes in water. Remove the marinated chicken pieces and pat dry with paper towels or napkins. String cherry tomatoes and chicken fillets alternately on skewers.

Light a fire, let the logs burn out. Over the coals, begin grilling the chicken skewers for 15 minutes, turning frequently. It is advisable to choose skewers flat so that meat and tomatoes do not spin on them, but are well fixed.

Get a squirt of water and sprinkle it frequently when frying chicken skewers. Thus, the meat will be more juicy and tender, very tender. If a fire appears on the coals, gently pour water over it.

To better bake the meat, it is important to monitor the temperature of the coals. Get yourself a fan-like object. This could be, for example, a piece of tree bark, a thick piece of cardboard, or a properly folded newspaper.

The readiness of the kebab can be checked by cutting the meat with a knife. If it is red inside, then the chicken must still be held over the coals. Meat should be served with ketchup, fresh salad of herbs, tomatoes, onions and dill.
