Sorbet is a delicacy consisting of pureed berries and granulated sugar. This dessert is now more relevant than ever, because it perfectly refreshes, thereby helping to endure the summer heat. I suggest making sorbet from a berry like strawberry.
It is necessary
- - strawberries - 300 g;
- - lemon - 1 pc.;
- - sugar - 75 g;
- - mint - 2 stems;
- - water 25 ml.
Instructions
Step 1
With strawberries, do the following: rinse them thoroughly and remove leaves and pedicels from the surface. Then chop the strawberries into fairly thin slices. The thickness of these pieces should not exceed 3 millimeters. Do not forget to leave a few berries in order to decorate the future dessert with them.
Step 2
Place the chopped berries in a free deep bowl and cover with granulated sugar. Also add water to it along with the juice squeezed from one lemon. Set this mixture aside for one quarter of an hour, that is, 15 minutes, so that the strawberries give juice and sugar.
Step 3
Place the candied strawberries in a blender bowl and chop until smooth. It is advisable to pass the resulting mass through a sieve several times - so it will become absolutely homogeneous.
Step 4
Place the mashed potatoes in a bowl over which it would spread in a rather thin layer. In this form, put the future sorbet in the freezer and keep it there for 60 minutes.
Step 5
After the time has passed, remove the frozen mass from the strawberries and turn them over with a fork. Ice breaking is necessary for the dessert to be saturated with air. This procedure should be repeated exactly three more times with exactly the same interval.
Step 6
Put the finished delicacy in a bowl in the form of balls. To do this, use a simple tablespoon. After decorating the dessert with the remaining berry and mint leaves, serve it to the table. The strawberry sorbet is ready!
