If you don't know what kind of meat dish to serve with a side dish, prepare meatballs with gravy. Thanks to the delicious sauce, the food is combined with buckwheat, pasta, mashed potatoes and boiled rice. Any side dish will acquire an interesting taste, you just have to flavor it with gravy from meatballs, and cooking will not take a lot of energy.

- To make meatballs, take:
- - 1 kg of minced meat (it can be anything: pork, chicken, beef or combined - a matter of taste);
- - 1 glass of raw rice;
- - 1 large onion;
- - 1 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
- - salt, pepper, spices to taste;
- - vegetable oil for frying.
- To make the gravy, you will need:
- - 3 tbsp. l. sour cream;
- - 2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
- - ½ cup tomato sauce;
- - 2 tbsp. l. wheat flour;
- - 1 glass of water;
- - salt, pepper, spices to taste.

Step 1
You need to start cooking meatballs with gravy by peeling vegetables. Remove the husk from the onion, cut into small cubes, peel the carrots, grate on a fine shredder. Fry the prepared vegetables in a pan with the addition of vegetable oil.
Step 2
Boil rice until half cooked, combine with store minced meat. If you wish, you can cook the minced meat yourself, but it will take time. Toss the meat and rice together.
Step 3
Add fried carrots and onions to the mixture. Put mayonnaise in the same bowl (it is allowed to replace it with sour cream), add salt and spices to taste. Mix everything thoroughly so that there are no lumps of rice or vegetables.

Take a baking dish. Wet your hands in cold water, form small meatballs, distribute them over the cooking utensils. You do not need to grease the mold with fat, as the meat balls will simmer in the gravy.
Step 5
Now you need to prepare the gravy. To do this, combine tomato sauce, sour cream, mayonnaise, water, flour and spices. Mix everything thoroughly. Be especially careful not to form lumps of flour. By the way, the gravy turns out to be very tasty, so you can make more of it, just increase the amount of ingredients, observing the proportions.
Step 6
Pour the prepared gravy into a baking dish. Ideally, the fill should hide the meatballs by more than half. Preheat oven to 180 ° C and let the dish cook for 30 minutes. If you place the meatballs and gravy in a cold oven, the development time increases to 45 minutes.
Step 7
Serve the finished meatballs with gravy with your favorite side dish. If desired, a couple of minutes before the meatballs are ready, you can sprinkle the meatballs with cheese, then a beautiful crust forms on them, which diversifies the taste and aroma of the dish.
