Millet porridge itself is considered tasty and healthy. Even in the hospital, it is recommended for people suffering from allergies and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. And if you add pumpkin to milk millet porridge, then the dish will become twice as tasty.
It is necessary
- - 1 kg. pumpkins,
- - 400 gr. millet,
- - 3 tbsp. fresh milk
- - 4 tbsp. water.
Instructions
Step 1
The pumpkin is washed, peeled not only of the peel, but also of the seeds. Divide it into slices. The slices are cut into small pieces, approximately 1 cm each.
Step 2
The pumpkin is placed in a saucepan and boiled in water for 30 minutes to soften.
Step 3
The washed millet is added to the pumpkin, salted, sugar is added and cooked for 20 minutes over low heat.
Step 4
Then pour two glasses of milk and cook for another 10 minutes. Then add the rest of the milk and cook until tender.
Step 5
Butter is added just before serving.
