Banana Raspberry Pie is a wonderful dessert that can be prepared any time of the year from fresh or frozen berries.
It is necessary
- - 1, 5 -2 cups of raspberries;
- - 2 bananas
- - a quarter glass of sugar;
- - a kilogram of yeast dough;
- - 1 egg;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of cornstarch;
- - 2/3 teaspoon of salt;
- - 1 teaspoon of cinnamon;
- - silicone baking dish.
Instructions
Step 1
Combine sugar, salt, starch and cinnamon in a large bowl. Then add the berries. Stir gently to keep the raspberries intact.
Step 2
Ready yeast dough must be chilled before baking in the refrigerator. You can also purchase pie dough from a grocery store or cookery.
Step 3
Separate about half a kilogram of dough from the total mass. Roll it into a layer 4-5 mm thick. Cut the dough into strips up to 1.5 cm wide. If the dough is not flexible enough and rolls out poorly, sprinkle it with water.
Step 4
Take the rest of the test. Roll it into a circle or rectangle. The shape of the layer depends on what kind of silicone baking dish you have. Place the dough in a baking dish, thus forming the bottom and sides of the cake. Brush the dough with a thin layer of egg white to protect it from getting wet.
Step 5
Peel the bananas and cut them into thin slices. Spread the banana slices evenly on top of the dough. Spread the pre-prepared mixture of raspberries, sugar, cinnamon, salt and starch on top.
Step 6
Make a braid of dough strips on top of the pie. Press the ends of the strips against the edge of the baking dish with a fork. Brush the cake with egg white and sprinkle lightly with sugar and cinnamon.
Step 7
Preheat oven to 175-180 degrees. Cover the tin with foil to prevent the edges of the cake from burning. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Chill the cake before serving.
