It is necessary

  • - milk - 1 liter;
  • - sourdough (natural yogurt) - 2 tablespoons;
  • - cream.

Instructions

Step 1

First, you need to heat the milk in an enamel pan to 40-50 degrees. Then you can add store-bought natural yogurt to it and mix. The mixture should be homogeneous, therefore, if necessary, you can use a mixer. When preparing yoghurt, you can use a 1: 1 mixture of cream and milk. Then the taste of the resulting product will be more delicate and soft.

Step 2

The resulting mixture must be poured into small sterile jars and covered with cling film. The jars should be put in a multicooker, after having covered its bottom with a towel.

Step 3

It is necessary to pour warm (about 40 degrees) water into the multicooker bowl so that it almost completely covers the jars.

Step 4

The multicooker must be turned on in heating mode and left for 20 minutes. After that, turn it off and leave the yogurt to simmer inside for an hour. Then the multicooker must be turned on again in heating mode for 20 minutes, after which it must be turned off again and left for an hour. The yoghurt can now be put into the refrigerator.

Step 5

Some multicooker have a special "Yogurt" mode, designed specifically for the preparation of this fermented milk product. If you have one on your device, it makes the task much easier. You just need to put a container with a mixture of milk and sourdough in the multicooker and start the "Yogurt" mode. The cooking time can be 5-7 hours. At the end of the process, the yoghurt must be refrigerated.

Step 6

After the yogurt has cooled and thickened in the refrigerator for several hours, you can start drinking it. Just before eating, you need to add sugar, jam or pieces of fruits and berries to it.
