Many dishes can be prepared from the heart. In the summer, when you want light food, the ideal solution would be a salad with a heart and fresh vegetables. It turns out to be light, but at the same time very satisfying.

It is necessary

  • - pork or beef heart 400 g;
  • - fresh cucumber 1 pc.;
  • - quail egg 6-8 pcs.;
  • - sweet peppers 2 pcs.;
  • - canned beans 1/2 can;
  • - red onion 1 pc.;
  • - vinegar 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • - sour cream 2-3 tbsp. spoons;
  • - garlic 2 cloves;
  • - Cherry tomatoes;
  • - lettuce leaves.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the heart in half, clear it of blood flow and film, then wash thoroughly. Pour in water, bring to a boil, then drain the water. Fill the heart with water again, bring to a boil, remove the foam and cook for at least 1.5 hours. Cut the finished heart into thin strips.

Step 2

Peel the onion, cut into thin half rings. Soak it in vinegar and water. To do this, mix water and vinegar in a 1: 1 ratio. Leave to marinate for 15 minutes, then discard the onion in a colander.

Step 3

Boil eggs hard-boiled, cool and peel. Cut each egg into 2 halves. Wash the bell peppers, peel off seeds and stalks, then cut into strips. Wash the cucumber and cut in half lengthwise, cut each part into thin slices.

Step 4

Combine all prepared vegetables with heart, add canned beans to them and stir. For dressing, peel the garlic, chop it and mix with sour cream. Put the salad on a dish covered with lettuce leaves, garnish with cherry tomatoes.
