Stewed cabbage with pumpkin and carrots can be served with meat or fish. Vegetarians will also like this dish. Very simple and incredibly delicious.

- - 300 g white cabbage,
- - 250 g pumpkin,
- - 1 carrot,
- - 1 onion,
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil
- - salt to taste,
- - ground black pepper to taste,
- - greens to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the top of the white cabbage roll. Cut the cabbage into small pieces, if desired, you can chop into strips. If the family is large, then a whole head of cabbage can be used for cooking.
Step 2
Peel the onion, select the amount of onion to your liking, some like it less, others more. Cut the onion into small cubes.
Step 3
Wash carrots, peel and grate.
Step 4
It is better to use a deep frying pan for cooking. Put chopped cabbage with carrots in a frying pan, fill with water so that it covers the vegetables by about two centimeters. Close the lid and put on high heat, after boiling, reduce the heat to medium, simmer for 25 minutes.
Step 5
Cut the pumpkin into small cubes and add it along with the onions to the cabbage pan. Season with spices. Simmer for another 15 minutes, covered. Remove the lid, if there is still a lot of liquid, then stir the vegetables and simmer until the liquid evaporates.
Step 6
Remove the pan from the heat when only a little broth remains. Divide the cabbage into portioned bowls, sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve.
