Making homemade ice cream is actually very simple. You just need to follow the instructions in order to eventually pamper yourself and your loved ones with delicious yogurt lemon-ginger ice cream!
It is necessary
- For six servings:
- - water - 3/4 cup;
- - sugar - 3/4 cup;
- - light corn syrup - 1/4 cup;
- - natural yogurt - 1 glass;
- - buttermilk - 1 glass;
- - lemon juice - 1/4 cup;
- - grated ginger - 2 tsp;
- - lemon peel - 1 tsp.
Instructions
Step 1
Combine water, corn syrup, sugar, and ginger in a saucepan. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Step 2
Bring the sweet mixture to a boil, cook for two minutes. Strain into a small container and refrigerate.
Step 3
Add lemon zest, lemon juice, buttermilk and yogurt to the chilled mixture, mix everything, transfer to a container or ice cream maker.
Step 4
Put in the freezer for a couple of hours, stirring every half hour.
