Unfortunately, radish is not often used as an ingredient in dishes. But it not only improves appetite, but also has a positive effect on digestion, preventing the development of cancerous tumors. But what can be made from radish at home? Delicious healthy salad with the addition of very simple and affordable products!
It is necessary
- 1. Radish (white) - 400 g.
- 2. Apple - 1 pc.
- 3. Mustard - 1 tsp.
- 4. Apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp. l.
- 5. Vegetable oil (preferably olive oil) - 2 tbsp. l.
- 6. Peeled pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds (roasted) - 1 tbsp. l.
- 7. A bunch of green onion feathers.
- 8. A bunch of dill.
- 9. Cream or sour cream (low fat) - 2 tbsp. l.
- 10. Salt.
Instructions
Step 1
A fairly large, sour Antonovka or Ranet apple is best suited for a radish salad. We clean the fruit by thinly cutting off its rind. We cut it into several equal parts so that it becomes possible to easily remove the seeds. It is advisable to cut the nests (seed) along with them, as they can be tough for consumption.
Step 2
Rub the peeled apple slices on a coarse grater and put them in a container intended for salad.
Step 3
Peel the radish and also rub it on a coarse grater. Then mix it well with grated apple and salt to taste.
Step 4
Mix the mustard with cream (or sour cream), vinegar and vegetable oil in the above ratio in a separate container and add finely chopped onion to the mixture.
Step 5
Pour the mixture of apple and radish with the resulting sauce. Sprinkle them with pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds. Seeds can be bought ready-made, they are sold in any store. But it is best to fry them yourself (having previously peeled them off) in a pan without adding oil for 10 minutes. Then they will acquire a very pleasant taste and smell, complementing the dish.
Step 6
It remains to add finely chopped dill greens to the salad and you can serve it on the table!
