This is a little unusual, but such a familiar product as sprats can turn out to be an excellent and very tasty filling for baking of all times and peoples - homemade pies.
It is necessary
- - 2 pcs. boiled potatoes;
- - 4 eggs;
- - 2 tablespoons of sour cream;
- - 2 tablespoons of flour;
- - 50 g bread crumbs;
- - 1 can of sprats in oil;
- - 50 g of cheese;
- - clarified butter.
Instructions
Step 1
Mash the sprats with a fork in a separate bowl to get a homogeneous mass, which will become the basis of the filling for the pies. In the same bowl, grate two boiled chicken eggs on a fine grater. The combination of eggs and sprat will not only give a delicate filling, but also make it more satisfying. Add 50 grams of grated cheese, two tablespoons of ghee (better at room temperature), a little pepper and mix everything well. The pie filling is ready.
Step 2
Take two large boiled potatoes, peel and rub on a coarse grater. Salt, add a couple of chicken eggs, two tbsp. spoons of sour cream. To prevent the dough from becoming too liquid, add two tablespoons of flour. Stir and knead the dough.
Step 3
Once the dough reaches the desired consistency, start sculpting small balls. They do not need to be large so that they are quickly fried and cooked from the inside. Using a spoon, squeeze out the middle of the balls (to make small vases) and put the filling there. Close the middle and shape into a small pie.
Step 4
Heat vegetable oil on the stove to deep-fry the pies. Dip the pies in breadcrumbs and gently dip in the butter for 10 minutes.
