A very spicy appetizer. A Korean food for everyone who loves spicy food. An uncomplicated recipe, but it turns out quite appetizing.
It is necessary
- - 1 kg of Chinese cabbage;
- - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of salt;
- - 7 cloves of garlic;
- - 1.5 liters of water;
- - 6 teaspoons of red hot pepper;
- - 20 g green onions;
- - 10 g ginger (fresh);
- - 2 teaspoons of sweet paprika (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the Chinese cabbage thoroughly and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut the head of cabbage in half.
Step 2
Prepare a saturated salt solution (mix 4 tablespoons of salt with 1.5 liters of hot water and cool). Then put the cabbage in the solution and close the container with a lid. Leave it on for 24 hours. If the kitchen is hot, then put the container with cabbage in a cool place or refrigerator.
Step 3
Prepare the marinade: Peel and rinse the garlic and ginger root. Rinse green onions, prepare spices. Grind the garlic and ginger in a blender. Chop the green onion finely. Combine chopped garlic, ginger and green onions. Add pepper and salt to taste. Mix everything.
Step 4
Remove the salted cabbage from the container, rinse and dry. Spread the spice and seasoning marinade over each leaf. Leave the cabbage in the container for 24 hours to ferment at room temperature.
Step 5
Cut the heads of cabbage into small pieces or strips. You can also serve the cabbage by separating all the leaves and stacking them in arcs on top of each other. Store the cabbage in the refrigerator.
