Foods like cottage cheese and poppy seeds go well with each other. Therefore, I suggest making buns out of them. They turn out to be very tender, tasty and aromatic.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - low-fat cottage cheese - 250 g;
- - flour - 400 g;
- - sugar - 100 g;
- - vanilla sugar - 1 sachet;
- - milk - 100 ml;
- - vegetable oil - 100 ml;
- - baking powder for dough - 2 teaspoons;
- - salt - a pinch.
- Filling:
- - poppy seeds - 100 g;
- - milk - 100 ml;
- - sugar - 2 tablespoons.
- To grease buns:
- - butter - 20 g;
- - cream - 3 tablespoons.
Instructions
Step 1
Put the poppy seeds in a small saucepan, first combining it with granulated sugar and milk. Bring the resulting mixture to a boil, cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes. After the time has elapsed, set aside, covered with a lid, and let cool completely.
Step 2
Combine the following ingredients in a deep bowl: baking powder, flour sifted through a sieve, cottage cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, as well as sunflower oil and milk. Mix the resulting mass thoroughly for several minutes until smooth, preferably with a mixer. The dough is ready.
Step 3
Transfer the finished dough from a deep bowl to a work surface. Turn it into a layer by rolling it out with a rolling pin, the thickness of which is approximately 5 millimeters. Place the poppy filling on it in an even layer and wrap to form a roll.
Step 4
Cut the roll of dough into equal pieces, the thickness of which is approximately 3-4 centimeters.
Step 5
Cover a baking dish with a sheet of parchment and place the resulting snail-like dough pieces into it. It is best to start this procedure from the middle.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and send future curd buns into it for about 30-40 minutes.
Step 7
Meanwhile, combine the cream with butter, pour into a saucepan, bring to a boil, but never boil.
Step 8
Thoroughly grease the finished baked goods with the creamy mass, then place them in the turned off oven for about a quarter of an hour. Curd buns with poppy seeds are ready!
