Instructions
Step 1
First of all, I would like to note that slightly unripe fruits are suitable for salting - they turn out to be much tastier. First, prepare the main ingredient to be rolled into the jars. After rinsing the watermelon thoroughly, let it dry. Then chop it into pieces of any size. The main thing is that they can easily crawl into a three-liter jar. As for the peel of the berry, you can either cut it off or pickle the watermelon with it.
Step 2
Place the watermelon cut into pieces in a pre-sterilized three-liter glass jar. Try to lay the berry quite tightly, but in no case pressing the pieces to the pieces. After filling the dishes with this ingredient, add salt, honey, as well as peeled garlic cloves and three aspirin tablets there. Pour the resulting mixture with boiling water, immediately roll it up and put it on the floor, wrapped in a warm cloth.
Step 3
In order to salt the watermelon according to the second recipe, place it in the prepared jar in exactly the same way as in the previous recipe. Pour boiling water over the laid out berry. In this state, keep it for 20 minutes, while slightly covering it with a lid. After the time has passed, drain the filled water and let it boil. As soon as this happens, add granulated sugar along with salt and citric acid into it and pour it back into the jar. Having rolled up the container with watermelon, put it upside down and cover with warm cloth.
Step 4
Pour the pieces of watermelon laid out in a jar with boiling water for 10-20 minutes. After a specified period of time, drain the added water. Having measured its amount, enter into it for each liter the amount of salt, vinegar and granulated sugar indicated in the recipe. Fill the berry with the resulting marinade, roll it up under the lid and cover it warmly. This salting recipe works best for brown watermelons.
