  • - Pork lard - 1 kg;
  • - Garlic - 5 large cloves;
  • - Ground black pepper - 1 tsp;
  • - Salt - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - Paprika - 1 tbsp. l.;
  • - Mayonnaise - 200 ml;
  • - Fresh dill - 1 bunch;
  • - Foil;
  • - Baking tray or baking dish.

Instructions

Step 1

First, rinse the bacon under running water and dry it thoroughly with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine ground black pepper, paprika and salt.

Then make several deep transverse cuts in the bacon. Rub the resulting spice mixture on all sides, paying special attention to the places in the depths of the cuts.

Now let's prepare the marinade. Peel the garlic cloves and crush them through a press or finely chop with a knife. Chop fresh dill. After that, mix mayonnaise with garlic and dill, and then coat the lard with this mass.

Place the workpiece in foil, wrap the edges so that there are no holes, and put it in the refrigerator for an hour. After the time has elapsed, turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees.

While the oven is warming up, remove the bacon from the refrigerator and place it directly in the foil on a baking sheet or in a baking dish. And then send to the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
