An incredible citrus cake with a moist texture. Almonds perfectly complement these baked goods, making them even tastier. This cake is ideal for a cup of hot tea, it can be served for breakfast, it can be eaten for lunch, or served as a dessert after a light dinner.
It is necessary
- - 330 g of sugar;

- - 250 g sour cream;
- - 125 ml of water;
- - 4 eggs;
- - 3 lemons;
- - 10 g baking powder;
- - 1 orange;
- - a bag of vanilla;

- - a pinch of salt, almonds, vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Whisk eggs with sugar (250 g), vanilla and salt. Pour in some vegetable oil in a thin stream, whisking the mixture. Add sour cream, grated zest from two lemons and milk. Stir, pour in 60 ml of fresh lemon juice.
Step 2
Separately mix flour with chopped and toasted almonds and baking powder. Combine the dry mixture with the liquid mixture, mix the resulting dough.
Step 3
Put the dough in a mold, place in the oven, cook for 40-50 minutes at the specified temperature.
Step 4
While the lemon almond pie is cooking, you can make some syrup for it. To do this, mix in a saucepan or saucepan with a thick bottom water, 80 g of sugar, zest from one orange, and zest from one lemon. Bring to a boil, wait 5 minutes. That's it, the syrup is ready for the pie.
Step 5
Saturate the finished lemon pie with almonds with syrup (do not throw away the zest from the syrup - it will serve as a decoration for us), cool completely at room temperature. Garnish the cooled pie with powdered sugar and strips of lemon and orange peel syrup. The next day, the cake remains the same soft and aromatic.
