An easy-to-prepare recipe that can be made in advance is perfect as an appetizer for the holiday table. The fish in the recipe can be replaced with other types, while you get a slightly different flavor.
It is necessary
- for 6 servings:
- - lightly salted salmon - 250 g;
- - hot smoked mackerel - 300 g;
- - cream cheese - 350 g;
- - dill - a bunch;
- - gelatin - 7 g;
- - milk - 50 ml;
- - salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, work with the fish, cut the salmon into thin slices, separate the mackerel pulp from the bone and skin.
Step 2
Prepare a mold that can be used to bake muffins. Cover it with cling film. Arrange the thin salmon slices in such a way that the fish comes into the walls. Process the cheese with a blender, adding dill.
Step 3
Pour milk into a small ladle, heat to a boil and remove from heat. Combine with swollen gelatin. Put cream cheese in this mass and stir until smooth.
Step 4
Spread some of the cream on the salmon slices. Then spread the mackerel fillet layer. Lay the second part of the cream on top and cover with layers of salmon. Wrap the semi-finished product with cling film, lightly press down with an improvised weight, perhaps it will be a carton of milk. Leave the dish in a cool place for 4-6 hours.
Step 5
Slice the terrine before serving. Offer croutons, herbs or vegetables with him.
