Rabbit meat is an ideal dietary meat from which you can prepare simple, but very tasty dishes. The most common recipe is a wine-fried rabbit with garlic sauce.
It is necessary
- - a rabbit weighing 1.5 kg, cut into pieces;
- - head of garlic;
- - 200 ml of white wine;
- - 150 ml of olive oil;
- - a sprig of fresh thyme;
- - salt and pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Pieces of rabbit need to be salted and pepper, set aside.
Step 2
Peel 8-10 cloves of garlic and lightly press down with a knife so that during frying all the aroma of the garlic is transferred to the oil.
Step 3
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over low heat, fry the garlic in it for 5-6 minutes. In no case should it burn.
Step 4
We take out the garlic, increase the heat and fry each piece of rabbit until golden brown.
Step 5
Pour in the wine and simmer the rabbit for 5 minutes to evaporate the alcohol.
Step 6
Return the garlic to the pan, add a sprig of thyme, close the lid and simmer the meat over low heat for 20 minutes.
Step 7
The finished dish can be served with almost any side dish - rice, vegetables or potatoes.
