Sometimes a very tasty and original dish can be prepared from the simplest and most ordinary products. Cabbage salad with pumpkin seeds is very simple and quick to prepare, but at the same time it is very healthy and tasty.
It is necessary
- - 1 PC. a head of white cabbage;
- - 250 g of peeled pumpkin seeds;
- - 20 g of apple cider vinegar;
- - 20 g of vegetable oil;
- - 10 g of soy sauce;
- - 10 g of sugar;
- - 5 g of salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Take peeled pumpkin seeds. If there are no peeled ones, then before starting cooking, prepare the seeds, peel and dry them. Place a heavy-bottomed frying pan on the stove, heat well and fry the pumpkin seeds in small portions. The seeds should be fried dry in a pan without oil, stirring constantly and turning them over with a wooden spatula. Usually, it takes no more than five minutes to fry one portion of seeds. Transfer the toasted seeds to a tray or large plate and let cool completely.
Step 2
Rinse the head of cabbage in cold water, remove the top leaves and chop into thin strips with a sharp knife. Transfer the cabbage to a high-rimmed bowl, salt and remember well with clean hands. Let the cabbage brew for half an hour, it should give a little juice. If there is a lot of juice, then carefully drain it.
Step 3
Make a sauce for the salad dressing. To do this, combine vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and salt in a small cup. Heat the vegetable oil in a small mug or ladle and add to the sauce. Mix everything and bring until smooth. The sugar should be completely dissolved.
Step 4
Combine roasted pumpkin seeds and cabbage, stir, season with sauce. Before serving, the salad can be garnished with fresh herbs.
