It is necessary

  • - large potatoes (4-6 pcs. at the rate of one potato - one portion);
  • - 600 g of meat for minced meat (at your discretion);
  • - 50 g of bacon or lard (even better - fat tail fat);
  • - 2 medium-sized onions;
  • - a clove of garlic;
  • - salt;
  • - black hot or allspice;
  • - cheese (Parmesan, Maasdam - to your taste), green onions for serving

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the meat: wash, dry, remove veins, films and small bones. Cut into small pieces. Peel the onions and garlic.

Step 2

Make minced meat, bacon (fat tail fat), onions, and garlic. Season with salt, pepper, mince again. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for a couple of hours to improve the taste of the minced meat.

Step 3

Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly.

Step 4

Take one potato and cut it in half lengthwise (just like cutting a hamburger bun).

Step 5

Carefully make a depression in each half with a spoon so that the thickness of the remaining wall is about 7-8 mm.

Step 6

Fill the grooves in both halves with minced meat, connect them and wrap them tightly, leaving no space, in two layers of foil.

Step 7

Repeat steps 4-6 for other potatoes.

Step 8

Potatoes are baked in three stages. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet or wire rack, place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

Step 9

Reduce the temperature to 170-180 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes.

Step 10

Set the temperature to 120-130 degrees and in this mode, bring the dish to full readiness. Depending on the size of the potatoes, this will take 40 to 70 minutes.

Step 11

Remove the potatoes from the oven. Place on plates, carefully use kitchen scissors to open the foil and separate it in two.

Step 12

While the dish is hot, sprinkle it with finely grated cheese and chopped green onions. Additionally, you can serve mayonnaise or yogurt sauce with lemon juice, garlic and herbs, as well as chopped tomatoes, cucumbers or any vegetable salad.
