How to stew cabbage in a slow cooker

To cook tasty and healthy cabbage with chicken fillet in a multicooker, you will need the following products:

- 1 kg of white cabbage;

- 400 g chicken fillet;

- 1 carrot;

- 1 head of onion;

- 1 glass of tomato juice;

- 1 tsp. olive oil;

- salt;

- any spices to taste.

You can also use sauerkraut to prepare this dish. It must first be soaked for half an hour in cold water, if the cabbage is very sour, then the soaking time should be increased to an hour. Then drain the water and strain the cabbage.

Peel fresh white cabbage from the upper leaves, clean up black spots (if any), rinse in cold running water and, after removing the stalk, cut into small cubes.

Peel carrots and onions. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, and finely chop the onion. Rinse the chicken fillet, pat dry with a paper towel or napkin and cut into small cubes.

Do not put a container that is wet outside in a multicooker. Before starting work, it must be absolutely dry and clean.

Pour olive oil into a multicooker pan, add prepared ingredients: carrots, onions, chicken fillet and white cabbage. Do not stir, salt, or season with spices.

Put the multicooker in the "Bake" mode for 40 minutes. If the cabbage is young, 20 minutes will be enough to prepare the dish.

At the signal about the end of the preset mode, pour in the tomato juice. It can be replaced with a tablespoon of tomato paste diluted in cold water. Add salt and other seasonings to your liking and mix well.

Switch the multicooker to the "Quenching" mode for an hour. After this time, the aromatic cabbage with chicken fillet will be ready.

To prepare this dish you need to take:

- 1 multi-glass of rice;

- 1 ½ multi-glass of water;

- 1 medium sized cabbage forks;

- 400 g of pork;

- 1 onion;

- 2-4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;

- salt;

- spices.

If desired, in this recipe, meat can be replaced with mushrooms.

Wash the pork, dry and cut into small pieces.

Pour vegetable oil into a multicooker pan. Then put the prepared pieces of meat and turn on the multicooker in the "Baking" mode for 30 minutes.

Peel the vegetables while the meat is cooking. Cut the onion into small cubes, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Take off the top leaves of white cabbage, cut and remove the stalk, and finely chop the cabbage.

The volume of the multi-glass is 160 milliliters. If for some reason the measuring cup was not included in the set with the multicooker, you can replace it with a regular one by measuring the required volume (160 milliliters).

After half an hour from the start of cooking, put onions and carrots in a saucepan with meat, continue to cook for another 15 minutes in the "Baking" mode.

At the end of this time, add the cabbage, season with a little salt and switch the multicooker to the "Stew" mode for 15 minutes. Then add pre-washed rice to the pan, pour in water, season everything with salt and spices. Put the multicooker in the Pilaf mode for 20 minutes. After this time, a delicious stew with rice and meat will be ready.
