In summer, it is difficult to imagine a daily diet without vegetables, when nature so generously endows us with vitamins and aromas. They contain not only many vitamins, but also the fiber necessary for the body. We will cook stewed cabbage with lean pork, lots of aromatic herbs and aromatic spices and herbs.
Ingredients:
- Lean pork - 400 g;
- Bulb onions - 2 pcs;
- Young cabbage - a head of cabbage weighing 1.5 kg;
- Fresh chili - 1 piece;
- Ginger - 5 cm root;
- Salt and spices;
- Fresh herbs - dill and parsley;
- Provencal herbs - 1 tsp;
- Vegetable oil;
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
Preparation:
- We warm up the multicooker by setting the "frying" mode.
- Grind the onions very finely, add to the oil.
- We prepare ginger - rub it on a fine grater. Grind the chili pepper, after removing all the seeds from it, which are very hot.
- Grind a slightly frozen piece of meat (for easy cutting), cut into thin strips or small cubes.
- Add meat, chili and ginger to fry to the onion, not forgetting to stir. At this stage, you can add tomatoes or grated carrots to taste, but then the cabbage will turn orange.
- While the meat is fried, chop the cabbage - either in small cubes or in thin, very long strips.
- After the meat is fried, salt it well, add spices. Add cabbage, butter, mix, set the "stewing" mode and bring the dish to readiness.
- All that remains is to switch the kitchen assistant mode to "heating the dish", add a lot of chopped greens and darken for an hour.
You can serve the dish with a simple vegetable salad and mashed potatoes; boiled rice with the addition of turmeric or curry is also suitable as a side dish. You can cook cabbage without meat.
