Salmon fillet is a truly royal product, the taste of which can be appreciated not only by professionals, but also by amateur gourmets. However, the fish pie captivates not only with its unforgettable taste, but also with its original look. A strip of puff pastry folded in a peculiar way creates the effect of a sea wave, on which a beautiful salmon is surrounded, surrounded by neat cherry tomatoes.

It is necessary

  • - common salt
  • - 300 g butter
  • - 500 g flour
  • - 300 ml of water
  • - fresh salmon fillet 250 g
  • - yellow cherry tomatoes 5 pcs.
  • - red cherry tomatoes 5 pcs.
  • - lemon
  • - chicken egg 1 pc.
  • - a mixture of peppers
  • - Thursday salt
  • - refined vegetable oil

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the dough. To do this, sift the flour with salt, put in a bowl, add the pre-melted butter. Mix well and add water. Interfere with the formation of a uniform consistency. Put the finished dough in a bag and refrigerate for an hour.

Step 2

Cut the lemon and squeeze the juice out of its half. Dry the salmon fillet after washing, cut into large cubes, pour over with lemon juice and sprinkle with a mixture of peppers to taste. Leave the fish in the marinade for 5-6 minutes.

Step 3

From a rectangular layer of ready-made puff pastry, cut into long strips, a little more wide than slices of salmon. Wash both cherry tomatoes.

Step 4

On a long skewer (about 15 cm), string the edge of the prepared strip and then the rest of the ingredients, shifting each of them with dough in the following order: a piece of salmon fillet, a whole yellow cherry tomato, another piece of fish and, last of all, a red tomato. Each food must adjoin the dough on both sides and not come into contact with each other.

Step 5

It is necessary to ensure that the dough does not adhere too tightly to tomatoes and fish, since each of its layers increases in volume during baking and needs appropriate space.

Step 6

Beat the chicken egg lightly with a fork or whisk and brush the pie on all sides. Sprinkle with salt on top.

Step 7

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Place the skewers on a baking sheet coated with refined vegetable oil and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

Step 8

Serve red caviar, salad mix and various types of herbs with the hot pie.
