Beef is very tasty and healthy meat. But you need to know how to cook it properly, because beef itself is very tough. To make it soft, you still need to work hard, for example, you can bake meat in a sleeve. In this case, it will be cooked in its own juice, it will become soft and delicate in taste. A great addition to beef would be mushroom sauce, which you can prepare yourself.

It is necessary

  • - lean beef 1 kg
  • - vegetable oil 50 ml
  • - mustard 3 tsp
  • - dried herbs 2 tsp
  • - black peppercorns 5 pcs.
  • - juice of half a lemon
  • - salt
  • For the sauce:
  • - fresh or frozen mushrooms 300 g
  • - dried porcini mushrooms 20 g
  • - cream (15% fat) 50 ml
  • - flour 2 tbsp. spoons
  • - vegetable oil
  • - salt and pepper

Instructions

Step 1

The first step is to prepare the marinade for the meat. Black pepper must be crushed. Add lemon juice, mustard, oil and dry herbs to it. Salt a little and mix everything well.

Step 2

Grease the meat with the resulting marinade and send it to the baking sleeve. The beef can be cut into portions immediately.

Step 3

Cook the meat in the oven for about 1.5 hours at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Step 4

While the beef is baking, proceed to the preparation of the sauce. Crush dried mushrooms. Finely chop fresh mushrooms and onion.

Step 5

In a frying pan, fry the onions in a little vegetable oil. Add mushrooms, spices and continue to fry for another 7 minutes.

Step 6

Add dried mushrooms, pour in 150 ml of water and simmer for half an hour over low heat.

Step 7

Add cream and flour, mix well and let the mixture boil. Then remove the resulting sauce from the heat.

Step 8

When serving, beef should be poured abundantly with mushroom sauce, which will be good both hot and cold.
