There are many different recipes for making chicken. If you want to surprise your loved ones with an original dish from this bird, try to cook it in an oriental style.

- 300 g chicken fillet
- 125 g flour
- 1 tbsp starch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 small carrot
- 1 onion
- 0.5 cans of canned pineapple
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- oriental spices
- salt
- pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a large bowl. Sift flour into this bowl through a sieve, add starch to it. Gradually pour cold water into the flour to avoid clumping. The dough should be as thick as sour cream in consistency. Finally, add salt and oil to it.
Step 2
Prepare the meat. To do this, take a chicken fillet and cut it into thin strips.
Step 3
Place a deep skillet on the stove, heat and pour vegetable or olive oil into it.
Step 4
Dip each piece of chicken fillet alternately in the prepared dough and place in the pan. Be careful, oil can shoot!
Step 5
Fry the meat on both sides until a light golden crust appears. When the chicken is done, remove it from the pan and place it on a paper towel or napkin to drain the excess oil.
Step 6
Next, prepare a savory sauce. To do this, cut the bell pepper into very small strips, grate the carrots, chop the onions and canned pineapple into small cubes. Add chopped vegetables and fruits to the skillet and lightly sauté them over high heat for about two minutes. Stir the mixture constantly so that nothing burns.
Step 7
Pour soy sauce over the toasted food. Bring it to a boil. Pour in the juice that remains in the canned pineapple jar (determine the amount to taste). Add your choice of spices: basil, ginger, cardamom, coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg, thyme, or cumin. Don't forget ground pepper and, of course, salt. Stir everything again and simmer lightly for about a minute.
Step 8
When the sauce is done, remove it from the heat and let it cool completely. Put the cooked hot chicken on a wide flat plate, pour over the spicy sauce and serve along with the boiled rice.
