Pizza used to be the favorite dish of the Italian poor. After all, all that was needed was a piece of simple dough, a couple of juicy tomatoes, and peasant cheese. Already this good in Italy has always been in abundance! Today, pizza is prepared in many countries both in expensive restaurants and in simple home cooking. Try making a classic cheesy one.
It is necessary
-
- For the test
- 300 g wheat flour;
- 1 egg;
- 100 g table margarine;
- 50 g of kefir;
- ½ teaspoon of baking soda;
- ½ teaspoon of salt.
- For filling
- 3 tomatoes;
- 100 g parsley;
- 100 g of basil;
- 50 g olive oil;
- 100 g parmesan;
- 100 g mozzarella;
- 100 g goat cheese;
- 100 g camembert.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the sifted flour in a slide on the table. Add salt. Cut the margarine into several pieces and place in the flour. Chop margarine and flour finely. Add egg, kefir and baking soda. Knead hard dough. Form the dough into a ball, place the ball in a deep bowl, cover with a linen napkin and refrigerate. The dough should stand in the refrigerator for at least an hour. If you leave it for a longer period, it's okay.
Step 2
Prepare the filling while the dough is in the refrigerator. Wash the tomatoes and pour boiling water over them. Peel and cut the tomatoes into small cubes. If there is too much juice in the tomatoes, squeeze them out slightly. Finely chop the basil and parsley, put the herbs in a bowl, add the olive oil and stir.
Step 3
Grate the Parmesan cheese, crush the mozzarella into small pieces, slice or break the goat cheese, and camembert. If you don't have all the cheeses, you can only get by with Parmesan and mozzarella.
Step 4
Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Knead it out again. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a round, thin cake no more than 5 mm thick and slightly larger than a baking dish in diameter. Brush the pizza pan with vegetable oil and place the flatbread on top of it. Press the dough lightly with your palms against the surface of the mold and make small bumps around the edges. Puncture the dough in several places with a fork to prevent the pizza from rising when baking.
Step 5
Brush the dough with a mixture of herbs and olive oil. Arrange the tomatoes, place the slices of mozzarella, camembert and goat cheese on top of them. Sprinkle Parmesan on top. Place the pizza in an oven preheated to 220 degrees and bake for about 15 minutes. Make sure that the cheese does not turn into a dry crust on top. The pizza can be removed when the cheese has softened to a thick sour cream consistency. Serve a rosy, juicy, hot pizza with red wine or tomato juice.
