  • - 50 grams of vegetable oil,
  • - 2 cups (200 ml) wheat flour,
  • - 1 egg,
  • - 50 ml of kefir.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the rice, cover it with water and let sit for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Rinse the meat, dry a little and cut into small cubes. For pilaf, you can take not only chicken, but also pork or beef, to taste.

Step 3

Finely chop the peeled onion, coarsely grate the carrots. Rinse the raisins, pour boiling water over and leave for five minutes. You can skip raisins to taste.

Step 4

Fry the onions and carrots in vegetable oil until transparent. Finely chop the garlic arrows and add to the pan to the vegetables, fry and add the meat. Cook until the meat turns white.

Step 5

Drain the rice and raisins. Put the rice and raisins on the vegetable fry, stir, add water (the water should cover the contents of the pan 1 cm high). Cook over medium heat.

Step 6

For the test.

Beat the egg into a bowl, add 50 ml of kefir, 50 grams of vegetable oil, a teaspoon of salt and a little soda, mix. Add sifted flour and knead to a non-sticky dough. Wrap a bowl of dough in plastic wrap, leave for half an hour.

Step 7

Lubricate any heat-resistant mold with a little vegetable oil. Roll out the dough into a thin layer. It is not necessary to sprinkle the working surface with flour, just grease it with oil. Transfer the dough sheet to the mold. Put pilaf on the dough and cover with the dough.

Step 8

Bake pilaf in dough for half an hour in the oven at 180 degrees. If the dough browns quickly during baking, take out the baking dish and cover it with foil, then set to bake. Allow ready pilaf to cool, then remove from the mold, cut into portions and serve.
