Outwardly, the Skazka salad resembles a great dessert or cake. The dish is very high in calories, so it is undesirable to eat it for those who follow a diet. Prepare this salad in the summer.
Skazka salad is a source of animal protein. Chicken white meat contains many nutrients that stimulate kidney function and lower cholesterol. Meat contains vitamins A, E, group B. All of them are necessary for healthy skin and hair. Thanks to the glutamine contained in chicken, the functioning of the nervous system improves. Chicken meat is an excellent prevention of atherosclerosis, hypertension and strokes. Elderly people with heart disease are advised to include chicken in their diet and stop eating other meat. Chicken meat acts on blood pressure and brings it back to normal.
To prepare the salad, you will need: 500 grams of chicken breast, 100 grams of hard cheese (can be processed), 400-500 grams of fresh mushrooms, 2 medium potatoes, 1 medium-sized carrot, 1 onion, 2-3 chicken eggs, 50-100 grams of peeled walnuts, 1 head of garlic, 400 grams of mayonnaise, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. pepper, 50 grams of vegetable oil for frying.
To decorate the salad, in addition to nuts, you can use boiled carrots, green onions and whole mushrooms.
Boil the chicken breasts for 30 minutes. Cool the meat, free it from bones and skin. Chicken breaks down easily into fibers. Take up the preparation of mushrooms: peel them, cut into pieces. Fry the mushrooms in vegetable oil over medium heat. Moisture should be removed from the mushrooms during frying. Place the finished mushrooms in a sieve to drain excess fat. Now finely chop the garlic and onion. Boil potatoes in their skins, peel. Hard boil the eggs. Place them in cold water before cleaning. After that, remove the shell and separate the whites from the yolks. Boil the carrots, peel. Cut the walnut kernels into large pieces.
If you love seafood, add a layer of squid or crab sticks to the salad.
Take a flat plate and lay out layer by layer on it. The lowest layer is chicken and garlic with mayonnaise. Next, add the onion and ground pepper. Grate potatoes on top. Drizzle with mayonnaise. The next layer is mushrooms and mayonnaise. After that, lay out the grated carrots. Rub the cheese on top. If you are using processed cheese, freeze it in the refrigerator beforehand. Top the salad with mayonnaise and top with the walnuts. Please note that each layer must be salted. To make the salad tasty, place it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to soak.
According to another version of the salad: 1 layer - chicken fillet, 2 layer - grated carrots, 3 layer - onions with mushrooms, 4 layer - grated eggs.
You can quickly refresh yourself with the Skazka salad: it is easily digested and gives strength. Mayonnaise goes well with chicken, vegetables and mushrooms. If you want to add a savory flavor to the salad, add a few tablespoons of soy sauce to the mayonnaise. The added layer of cucumbers will add freshness to the dish. Since it takes a little time to prepare a dish, it can be attributed to cold appetizers.
