Collecting nuts on your own or buying in a store is a purely individual matter, the difference is only in the quality of the fruits themselves. When picking yourself, pay attention to the ripeness of the fruit. If you collect only green nuts, then it will not be possible to dry and preserve for a long time. Green nuts are only suitable for making stewed fruit and jam.

When the nuts are purchased or harvested, prepare them for drying. Peel the kernels if necessary. For these purposes, use a small hammer and hit the shell gently so as not to damage the kernel itself.
Step 3
Nuts, due to the content of proteins and fats in them, are able to dry well in the oven and in a special drying processor, they will also withstand ordinary frying in a pan. When drying nuts in a food processor, cook the shell-free kernels. Inshell nuts are dried at a temperature of 120 degrees in an oven. Due to the high protein content, the amount of moisture in such nuts will fit a little, but even this is not able to shorten the drying time. If there are no conditions for drying nuts in a food processor, use the simplest method: lay the nuts on a spread tent under the sun and wind. The main thing is that moisture does not get in, otherwise the nuts will not dry out and deteriorate visually.

The time to fry the nuts without the shell in a pan is 3-5 minutes. Dry the nuts in a dry processor without shells for 5-6 hours. For oven drying, prepare a sieve, it should be placed on hot bricks. Only after all the wood has been burned, start drying the nuts. Do not close the damper at the inlet, this is done so that drying occurs with the simultaneous connection of steam and air.
Step 5
The time to fry the nuts without the shell in a pan is 3-5 minutes. In the dryer, the nuts are dried in the same form for 5-6 hours. Short-term strong heating will not destroy biologically active substances in the composition of nuts than the average temperature with prolonged heating.
