Tilapia is a fish with a delicate taste. If you have tilapia fillets on hand and you don't have much time to cook, there are some simple ways to quickly prepare a delicious fish dish.
- If the house has a multicooker, the entire cooking process will take no more than 15 minutes. Rinse the tilapia fillets, cut into long pieces, salt, add a little fish spice. Place in a slow cooker with a little water and sunflower oil. Any garnish for tilapia, preferably rice or mashed potatoes.
- Tilapia fillets can be fried in whole pieces by rolling them in flour mixed with salt and fish spices. Fry the tilapia pieces in a preheated skillet with vegetable oil until golden brown, about 5 minutes on each side. Be sure to cover the pan with a lid when frying. Best served with fresh vegetables and herbs.
- Fillet of tilapia in batter is also prepared in a hurry. Pieces of tilapia can be taken whole or cut into pieces. Batter recipe: in a bowl, whisk thoroughly one egg, a little salt and fish spices, soda on the tip of a knife, a third of a glass of water or milk, half a glass of flour. The batter dough must be liquid! Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Dip each tilapia fillet in batter and fry in oil for three minutes on each side. Serve immediately, while the dish is hot, with any sauce or sour cream and herbs.
- You can bake tilapia fillets in the oven under the "fur coat". To do this, turn on the oven. While it is heating, place whole chunks of tilapia fillets on a greased baking sheet with vegetable oil. Spread with mayonnaise, put a "fur coat" on top - finely chopped ingredients in any combination: pickled or pickled cucumbers, boiled eggs, mushrooms - pickled or fried, bell peppers, tomatoes. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top and bake for about 25 minutes. It is important not to overdry the tilapia!
