It would seem that it is an ordinary pie with apples, but not everything is so simple - it turns out to be moderately sweet, slightly moist, delicately aromatic and fruity-satisfying. Ground cardamom is the highlight of this pie.

It is necessary

  • - 550 g of apples;
  • - 340 g flour;
  • - 175 g of sugar;
  • - 150 g butter;
  • - 140 ml of milk;
  • - 50 g brown sugar;
  • - 10 g ground cardamom;
  • - 8 g baking powder;
  • - 2 eggs;
  • - vanilla essence.

Instructions

Step 1

Coat the baking dish with oil, line the bottom and sides with parchment paper. Sift the flour along with the cardamom and baking powder. Peel two apples, cut into thin slices, put in a shape in a circle, sprinkle with brown sugar on top. Peel the rest of the apples, chop finely.

Step 2

Whisk softened butter with sugar until fluffy, add vanilla essence (1 teaspoon is enough) and eggs, whisking until the granulated sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 3

Add milk and flour mixture to the butter one by one, knead a smooth dough from these components. Add the chopped apples and stir with a spoon or spatula.

Step 4

Put the resulting dough in the prepared form on top of the apples, level with a spatula so that the dough is slightly higher at the edges of the form than in the center.

Step 5

Place the cake pan in the oven at 180 degrees. Bake for 55-60 minutes, check the readiness of the pie with a wooden stick, since all ovens and forms are different, therefore, the cooking time will also differ.

Step 6

Cool the finished apple pie with cardamom for 10 minutes, then turn over onto a wire rack, remove the parchment paper and cool completely. Decorate the baked goods as desired - almond flakes, chocolate, candied fruit or something else. It is equally tasty for tea, coffee, and with milk.
