- For glaze:
- - bitter chocolate - 125 g;
- - heavy cream - 125 ml;
- - butter - 15 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Beat the diced and softened butter into a homogeneous mass with a mixer. Gradually add the icing sugar to make a soft cream.
Step 2
Beat the eggs, pour parts into the cream. If the mass begins to curl, add a spoonful of sifted flour. When the egg mass is completely introduced into the cream, stir in the flour. Knead a homogeneous dough.
Step 3
Rub the orange zest, squeeze the juice from the fruit. Dissolve the cocoa powder in hot water. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Add zest and 3 tablespoons of orange juice to one, and cocoa to the second.
Step 4
We put the silicone form-ring on a baking sheet. We spread half of the chocolate dough at a short distance from each other. Fill the voids with orange dough. Use a knife to randomly mix both types of dough to create a beautiful pattern. In a similar way, lay out the remaining dough and mix.
Step 5
We bake the cake in the oven for 30 minutes, check the readiness with a wooden toothpick, if necessary, increase the baking time. Leave the finished cake in the mold for 15 minutes, then turn it over onto the wire rack.
Step 6
For the cream, put the pieces of chocolate in a saucepan or ladle with a thick bottom, pour in the cream and add the butter. Heat the glaze on minimal heat, stir until smooth. Pour icing on the cupcake, decorate to taste.
