  • - baking powder for dough - 1 teaspoon;
  • - orange - 1 pc;
  • - bitter chocolate - 50 g;
  • - cocoa - 50 g;
  • - butter - 150 g;
  • - sugar - 150 g;
  • - milk - 400 ml.
  • For glaze:
  • - sugar - 3 tablespoons;
  • - cocoa - 3 tablespoons;
  • - sour cream - 2 tablespoons;
  • - butter - 50 g.

Instructions

Step 1

After softening the butter, mix it with granulated sugar. Beat this mixture until it turns into a very fluffy mass. With dark chocolate, do this: break it into wedges and melt. Melt it, for example, in a water bath or in the microwave. Rinse the orange and chop it using a grater. Add both chocolate and orange zest to the bulk. Whisk.

Step 2

Using a deep cup, combine the baking powder, cocoa powder and flour in it. Sift the mixture by passing it through a sieve, it is advisable to do this repeatedly.

Step 3

Add milk and beaten eggs to the sugar and butter mixture. Stir, then add the flour mass to the same place. Whisk until smooth. As a result, a dough was formed. Heat it in a suitable baking dish using a water bath. Bring to a boil, then cook for another hour and a half. As a result of these manipulations, you will get a cake.

Step 4

While the cake base is cooling, make the frosting. To do this, place the following in a free saucepan: granulated sugar, butter, as well as sour cream and cocoa powder. After placing the mass on the stove, heat until it becomes homogeneous, that is, within 3 minutes.

Step 5

Put the finished icing on the center of the dish. Do not smear it - it will spread on its own. The fancy chocolate cake is ready! Decorate it if you have such a desire.
