Step 1

Knead the dough. It will turn out to be elastic, soft and will not stick to your hands. Wrap the dough in foil and put in a cold place for 30-40 minutes.

Prepare the cream. Mash the yolks with granulated sugar until white, add vanilla sugar and 3 tbsp. flour. In a saucepan, slightly heat the milk and pour in the yolk mixture in a thin stream, bring to a boil, the cream should thicken. Remove from heat and leave to cool.

Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each part thinly. Attach the dish and cut out even circles.

Step 4

Heat a skillet and brown the tortillas, about 25-30 seconds on each side.

Put the first flatbread on a dish, brush liberally with cream, then cover with the second flatbread and brush with cream again. Repeat this 10 more times. Leave the cake for 8-10 hours to soak.
