French cuisine - omelet - is very popular all over the world. These are eggs, beaten and fried in butter. The omelet is easy to prepare, satisfying and delicious. Different national cuisines have their own varieties of this dish. Omelettes are prepared with cheese, bacon, ham, seafood, mushrooms, various vegetables and even fruits.
Omelet with ham and cucumber
To make an omelet with ham and cucumbers, you will need:
- 6 eggs;
- 150 g ham;
- 1 pickled cucumber;
- ½ glass of cream;
- 3 tbsp. l. butter;
- ground black pepper;
- salt.
Cut the ham into strips and lightly sauté in butter. Then add the pickled cucumber, cut into strips. Whisk the eggs well with cream, salt, sprinkle with pepper and pour the cooked egg mixture over the ham and cucumbers. Saute the omelet over low heat until tender.
Spanish omelet with bacon and mushrooms
To make an omelet in Spanish, you need to take the following products:
- 4 eggs;
- 4 tomatoes;
- 8 mushrooms;
- 150 g bacon;
- 1 boiled potato;
- 1 onion;
- 1 sweet pepper;
- 1 tbsp. l. olive oil;
- 3 tbsp. l. grated hard cheese;
- parsley greens;
- ground black pepper;
- salt.
Peel the onion, chop with a knife and save in olive oil. Then add the chopped or diced bacon and sauté it with the onions for 1-2 minutes. Cut the pre-cooked potatoes into strips, tomatoes into slices, and champignons into slices. Combine the prepared ingredients, put in the pan with the onion and bacon, stir and fry.
Beat eggs with a tablespoon of water (you can use mineral water), salt and pepper. Pour into skillet and cook over low heat for about 4 minutes (until omelet is lightly browned). Then remove from heat, sprinkle with grated cheese and cover. Garnish the finished omelet with finely chopped parsley and bell pepper rings.
Sweet omelet with fruit
An omelet can become not only a full-fledged independent dish, but also a delicious dessert. To make an omelet with fruit you will need:
- 8 eggs;
- 1 banana;
- 2 kiwi;
- ½ cup compote strawberries;
- 1 tbsp. l. icing sugar;
- 1 orange;
- vegetable oil;
- salt to taste.
Carefully separate the whites from the yolks and beat the whites with a mixer or whisk until a fluffy foam forms. Rub the yolks with salt with a wooden spoon and carefully combine with the protein foam. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and make a ¼ omelet. Then fry 3 more omelette pancakes.
Cut the banana, kiwi and orange peeled and white films into small pieces. Place chopped fruits and strawberries on top of each cooked omelet. Then fold in half and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
