By tradition, the second hot dish should be meaty, hearty, and preferably easy to prepare. Peasant-style beef is cooked in pots; from a half-kilogram piece of meat, you can cook six full-fledged hearty portions of meat in pots with vegetables and herbs. The meat is stewed with vegetables and herbs, because of this it turns out to be very juicy, soft and aromatic.

The dish will be cooked in ceramic peas in the oven. To prepare six servings of meat, you will need six pots, each with a volume of 400 milliliters. From products you will need:

- boneless beef 500 grams;

- potatoes 2 kilograms;

- 1 large fresh bunch of parsley;

- 4 carrots;

- 4 onions;

- a kilogram of green beans;

- packaging of spices "Provencal herbs".

Before cooking, you need to wash and grease the inside of the ceramic baking pots. Then you need to finely chop the onion and put it on the bottom of the pots. You should also try to cut the meat into small cubes and put on top of the onion, salt, add a little spices and two tablespoons of drinking water in each pot.

You can forget about the pots for now. Now you need to peel potatoes and carrots, cut vegetables into small equal cubes, and mix with green beans, salt and put the vegetable mixture in pots. From above, they can be covered with lids or a layer of foil and baked in an oven preheated to 160 degrees for 1 hour.

Optionally, instead of the usual lids, you can cover the pots with unleavened dough lids. Thus, you will also get a fresh cake for the dish. To prepare six dough lids, you will need:

- 4 glasses of flour;

- a glass of hot drinking water;

- 3 tablespoons full of vegetable oil;

- a pinch of fine salt.

In a deep bowl, pour boiling water over the flour and stir until the lumps disappear, then add oil, salt and knead the plastic and tough unleavened dough. Then you need to roll it into six cakes and close the pots of meat with them.

It is best to serve the dish to the table in pots, without transferring it to a plate. Meat cooked in this way does not need an additional side dish, the only thing that can be added to the dish is slices of fresh cucumber and fresh parsley.
