Meat strudel is a hearty dish that you can feed all your household members. Of course, you need to tinker with its preparation in the kitchen, but the result will completely satisfy you.
We need (for the test):
- flour - 220 grams;
- margarine, semolina - 60 grams each;
- one egg yolk;
- five tablespoons of sour cream and water (warm).
Also set aside the ingredients for future filling:
- minced meat - 500 grams;
- two onions;
- one egg;
- a teaspoon of salt, red pepper;
- creamy margarine - 30 grams;
- four tablespoons of sour cream (can be replaced with water);
- Shabby lemon zest.
Sift flour and semolina onto a kitchen board. In the middle, make a depression, put salt in it, add straightened margarine (not hot), sour cream with water, egg yolk. Knead these ingredients until the resulting dough stops sticking. Form into a flat ball, brush with a thin layer of liquid margarine, cover with a bowl and place a saucepan of water (hot) on top. Remove the dough for proofing, wait at least half an hour.
Roll out the strudel dough into a thin layer, brush the surface with the filling (prepare with the indicated ingredients, only without margarine). Roll into a tube, place on a baking sheet, greased with margarine. Put in the oven for twenty-five minutes - during this time, a golden brown crust forms. Only preheat the oven thoroughly. Serve the finished strudel with meat warm. You can serve any savory sauce separately. Bon Appetit!
