You can diversify your everyday menu with casseroles. The basis is one, and there are so many fillings that you can cook something new every day. One of the popular recipes is a casserole with potatoes, mushrooms and cheese. You can make your own casserole dough, but you can use ready-made puff pastry to speed up the process.
Potato casserole: ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry;
- 2 medium-sized potatoes (about 400 g);
- 340 g minced meat;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- a tablespoon of chopped parsley;
- 225 g of champignons (or any other mushrooms to taste);
- 170 g provolone cheese;
- 50 g of grated parmesan;
- a little flour to roll out the dough;
- salt to taste.
Minced meat and potato casserole: preparation
Peel the potatoes, cut them as thin as possible and boil them in boiling and lightly salted water for 5-6 minutes.
Fry the minced meat with the squeezed garlic clove in a large skillet for 5 minutes.
Peel the mushrooms, cut into thin plastics, add to the minced meat along with chopped parsley. Season with salt, stir and fry for another 5-7 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Preheat the oven to 190C. Grease a casserole dish with butter and lightly sprinkle with flour. Roll out the puff pastry, lay out the mold, make several punctures with a fork.
Put the minced meat with mushrooms in the first layer.
The next layer is provolone cheese (it can be grated or cut into thin plastics).
Next, you need to beautifully lay out the potatoes and sprinkle it with grated Parmesan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes. A fragrant and delicious potato casserole with mushrooms is ready! It is best served hot.
