Pumpkin roll is not just tasty, but also a very healthy dish. And walnuts and cinnamon, combined with pumpkin, will give the roll an original taste. I suggest trying to make a roll according to a simple recipe.

It is necessary

  • - egg - 1 pc.;
  • - flour - 500 g;
  • - pumpkin - 1 kg;
  • - walnuts (peeled) - 150 g;
  • - sugar - 100 g;
  • - icing sugar - 1 tbsp. l.;
  • - butter - 100 g;
  • - vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - cinnamon - 1.5 tsp;
  • - salt - a pinch.

Instructions

Step 1

Dough preparation. Beat the egg with a mixer, salt, add 250 ml of water, mix. Add flour gradually and knead the dough. Cover the dough with cling film and leave for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Cooking the filling. Peel the pumpkin. Grate the pulp on a coarse grater. Add sugar and cinnamon. Chop the walnuts with a knife or a blender until they are coarse and add to the pumpkin (leave some nut crumbs for decoration). Stir.

Melt the butter.

Divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll each part into a thin layer (about 3 mm thick). Brush the dough with melted butter. Spread the filling evenly on one layer, and lay the second layer on top. Roll up.

Step 5

Grease the roll with butter and sprinkle with nuts. Transfer the roll to a greased baking sheet and carefully cut into large, even pieces. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. After the roll has cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar. The dish is ready.
