To fully enjoy shrimp, it is not enough to boil them properly. In addition, it is important to prepare a good sauce that will successfully accentuate the taste. There are many recipes for shrimp sauces.
It is necessary
- Mayonnaise sauce with garlic and pickled cucumber:
- - 100 g of mayonnaise;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - half a lemon;
- - 1 medium-sized pickled cucumber;
- - a few sprigs of fresh dill.
- Spicy sauce:
- - 1 large tomato;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- - 1 teaspoon of dry paprika;
- - 1 glass of water;
- - a small pod of hot pepper;
- - salt and black pepper to taste.
- Cheese sauce:
- - processed cheese;
- - 100 ml of milk;
- - 2 small onions.
- Orange sauce:
- - 200 g of mayonnaise;
- - 200 g ketchup;
- -1 large orange.
- Spicy sauce:
- - 50 g of any hard cheese;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - half a lemon;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of prepared mustard;
- - 3 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce.
- Horseradish tomato sauce:
- - 100 g ketchup;
- - 50 g horseradish root.
- Yogurt and Avocado Sauce:
- - 200 g of yogurt without filler;
- - half a lemon;
- - 1 ripe avocado;
- - half a teaspoon of salt;
- - 1 teaspoon of sugar;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Mayonnaise sauce with garlic and pickled cucumber
Grate the cucumber and finely grate the garlic. Add grated garlic and pickled cucumber, lemon juice and finely chopped fresh dill to mayonnaise. Stir the sauce, let it brew for 10 minutes. Serve the sauce over the pre-cooked shrimp.
Step 2
Spicy shrimp sauce
Dip the tomato in boiling water for 1 minute, remove the skin from it and chop it finely. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the chopped tomato in it for 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste, dry paprika and finely chopped hot peppers to the tomato. Stir the sauce and heat it for another 2 minutes. Put the shrimp in a frying pan and cover them with a glass of water, stir everything and simmer the shrimp in a hot sauce over low heat for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Shrimp cheese sauce
Pour the milk into a thick-walled saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the processed cheese, cut into small cubes, to the milk. Simmer the milk and cheese over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese is completely melted. Then chop the onions as small as possible and add to the sauce. Cook the sauce for another 5 minutes. Serve the prepared sauce with the pre-cooked shrimp.
Step 4
Orange Shrimp Sauce
Combine mayonnaise and ketchup. Squeeze the juice out of the orange, strain and add to the sauce. Stir the sauce and refrigerate for half an hour to infuse. Serve with baked or boiled shrimp sauce.
Step 5
Spicy shrimp sauce
Grate cheese and a couple of garlic cloves on a fine grater, squeeze the juice from half a lemon. Combine grated cheese and garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce and mustard in a bowl. Stir the sauce thoroughly and serve with boiled or baked shrimp. To make the spicy sauce more uniform, mix it in a blender.
Step 6
Horseradish tomato sauce
Peel the horseradish root and grate it on a fine grater. Combine ketchup and grated horseradish. Mix the sauce well and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. Ready sauce can be served not only with shrimp cooked in any way, but also with other seafood.
Step 7
Yogurt and avocado sauce
Cut the avocado into halves and spoon out the flesh with a spoon. Mix the avocado pulp with the juice of half a lemon, yogurt, salt and sugar, and mix well. Add vegetable oil to the sauce and mix thoroughly again.
