In combination with ripe bananas, nuts and a light taste of chocolate, ordinary plum jam turns into an indescribable delicacy for a family tea party. Such jam can be prepared for the winter, so that even on cold evenings you can enjoy the taste of plums and bananas.
It is necessary
- - 600 g pitted plums;
- - 50 g of walnuts;
- - 2 bananas;
- - 1 st. a spoonful of sugar, cocoa powder.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the plums, remove the seeds from them, cut into small pieces. Put plums in a saucepan, cover with sugar, pour in half a glass of plain water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer plums over low heat for about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Then pour the plum mixture into a blender, add the peeled banana pieces there. Chop the plums and bananas until puree. Then rub through a sieve to get rid of pieces of plum skin - but this is not at all necessary, the jam is already tender.
Step 3
Pour the plum and banana mixture back into the saucepan, return to the heat, add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, bring the mixture to a boil. Cook the jam for 5 minutes, then add the chopped walnuts, cook for another 3 minutes together.
Step 4
Arrange hot banana and plum jam with nuts in sterilized jars, roll up. You can make jam with half the amount of the specified ingredients, if you don't want to cook with a reserve for the winter. Jam is eaten quickly - you can simply serve it with tea, add it directly to tea, use it as a filling for a pancake, pour it over pies and pancakes. Only without seaming, such jam is stored in the refrigerator for at least 1 week.
