It is necessary

    • pumpkin 700 g;
    • milk 2 tbsp.;
    • sugar 0.5 tbsp.;
    • flour 1 tbsp;
    • butter 50 g;
    • sour cream 0.5 tbsp.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a pumpkin, wash it under water, wipe it with paper towels. If the pumpkin is large, cut off the piece to be cooked. Peel and remove seeds.

Step 2

Cut into cubes about 3 x 3 cm. Fold the sliced pumpkin into a greased pan in which you will steam it. Fill the mold about 1/3 full to leave room for the milk sauce. Since the sauce is made with milk, it will foam during the boil.

Step 3

Make a baking sauce. Take butter and flour, all ingredients in a tablespoon. Put butter on a preheated frying pan, then flour, stir. Fry the flour until golden brown and place in a separate bowl that can be put on fire. Take milk, sugar and add to the fried flour, mix everything with a whisk, heating over low heat until the sugar and flour dissolve. The sauce is ready.

Step 4

Pour the sauce into the pumpkin pan. Spread the pumpkin slices so that the sauce covers the entire surface. Place the dish in the oven. Bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.

Step 5

Remove the dish from the oven 10 minutes before cooking. Spoon the sauce and pour over the pumpkin. Place in the oven to bake. Thus, the pumpkin will brown on top, a caramel crust will form on it. The doneness of a pumpkin is determined by its softness and color. It should melt in your mouth and be amber-transparent.

Step 6

Arrange the finished dish on plates, add a piece of butter and pour over sour cream.
