Oven-baked apples are a favorite treat since childhood for many. If you add filling and maple syrup to apples, you get an incredibly tasty and healthy dessert.
It is necessary
- - 5 medium sized apples;
- - 100 gr. raisins, dried cranberries and walnuts;
- - a teaspoon of vanilla extract;
- - a pinch of cardamom or ground cinnamon;
- - 8 spoons of maple syrup (honey can be used);
- - vanilla ice cream (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
We clean the apples, rub one apple on a grater. In a bowl, mix the grated apple, well-washed raisins, cranberries, chopped walnuts, vanilla extract and cardamom (cinnamon). If you don't have dried cranberries, you can use fresh or frozen berries.
Step 2
Carefully remove the core from the remaining apples and fill them with the filling.
Step 3
Add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (honey) to each apple.
Step 4
We bake the stuffed apples at a temperature of 110C from 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Step 5
Serve baked apples warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
