It is necessary
- - 6 small, firm, sour apples
- - 4 tablespoons liquid honey
- - 80 g granulated sugar
- - juice of 1 lemon
- - ground cardamom, star anise, cinnamon sticks, vanilla
- - 3 tbsp. any nuts (pre-roasted walnuts, almonds, pistachios, etc.)
Instructions
Step 1
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, runny honey, and lemon juice. Add a little incomplete glass of water and spice and simmer for 4-5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the stove and set aside to cool.
Step 2
Peel the apples, leaving some skin on top. Line a high-sided baking tray with baking paper or foil, pour the resulting aromatic syrup into it, and place the apples.
Step 3
Lightly pour the syrup over the apples and let simmer for 50 minutes or 1 hour in an oven heated to 210 degrees. Remove the baking sheet every 7-10 minutes and pour the honey syrup over the apples. If it gets thick, add a little water to it.
Step 4
Once the apples are golden brown and golden, sprinkle with chopped nuts and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
