Gelatin is a product of animal origin. It is obtained by step-by-step digestion, drying and then grinding a decoction of tendons, ligament bones and some other animal tissues, which contain collagen. In appearance and consistency, it is a natural, viscous, transparent substance that has been used for many hundreds of years in cosmetology, medicine and cooking.
Instructions
Step 1
To facilitate sewing from viscose and chiffon, the fabric must be soaked in brewed gelatin based on the calculation: 1 st. spoon for 1 liter of water. Then dry the fabric, iron it and cut it. It is more convenient to use gelatin than starch, since it does not stick to the iron during ironing, does not knock out of the fabric and is easily washed out during washing.
Step 2
High purity, readily soluble gelatin does not need to be soaked. It is necessary to pour a small amount of warm broth into the gelatin and mix thoroughly. Leave to swell for 5 minutes and pour into the gelatin solution in a thin stream into the warm broth mixture, stirring continuously. Heat, but not over an open fire, but in a water bath, until completely dissolved, without bringing to a boil.
Step 3
To obtain a delicate jelly, it is enough to use 20 grams of gelatin per 1 liter of liquid, and for a denser jelly, it is necessary to pour from 30 to 50 grams per liter. To obtain jelly and mousse, gelatin must be soaked in 1 liter of cold water, and when after an hour it swells, it is necessary to drain the excess water and add the swollen gelatin to the boiling syrup with continuous stirring. Having brought it to complete dissolution, it must be removed from the fire.
Step 4
Gelatin is rich in protein, which is essential for the "building" of hair and nails. It will help you quickly regrow your hair of incredible volume and shine. Gelatin 1 tbsp. dilute a spoon with 3 tbsp. spoons of warm water and mix well so that there are no lumps left. Let it stand until it swells and mix with 1 teaspoon of shampoo. Apply to hair. After covering with polyethylene, stand for 20-30 minutes.
Step 5
Traditional medicine advises to treat some joint diseases, weak hair and nails with gelatin. Pour 1 teaspoon of gelatin overnight with half a glass of cold boiled water. In the morning, add 1 teaspoon of honey to the gelatin that has swollen overnight and add a glass to a glass full of hot boiled water. Having mixed everything well, it is necessary to take out the stomach, while it is warm.
